Roger Batchelor

Roger Batchelor practiced in Ontario before relocating to the West Coast. He opened office in the Western Communities in October 2005. With experience in all different facets of law, and education able to handle all matters with confidence. Do legal aid, corporate, Conveyancing, criminal, family and many other areas. Personal interests in music, group homes giving back to the community. Teaching courses thru U Can West.

Legal Assistant - Lindsay Chauvin

Lindsay graduated from University of Windsor in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy. She moved to BC in 1993. Since then has obtained a Certificate in Conflict Analysis and Management (2002) from the Institute of Conflict Analysis and Management, Diploma in Advanced Business and E-Commerce from Sprott-Shaw Community College (2004) and a certificate in Lay-Counseling (2004).

Lindsay was a member of the Board of Directors for Sooke Family Resource Society for the past four years and currently resides in Sooke with her daughter Ayla.

Rachelle Dallaire, Office Manager & Family Support Coordinator

Rachelle attended University of Waterloo to complete two years of a general BA. Attended Ryerson University in Toronto to complete two years of the BSW with a unique anti oppression perspective. Currently attending University Victoria as a Social Work student. Certified as a Trauma Counselor through Hinks Dellcrest. More than Fifteen years of social service experience. Mother of one.

Zhila Alizadeh-Borji, Legal Assistant & Finance Coordinator

Zhila is originally from Iran (Persia) and graduated from University of Tehran with a Bachelor of Business Management. She is assisting Roger with his criminal, Will, Estate and Immigration cases. She is working at Roger Batchelor Law Corp since August 2007.

Jesse Stamm, Legal Assistant & Student-at-Law

Jesse graduated from the University of Victoria in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and again in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science (with Distinction) in Psychology. Jesse is currently in his 2nd year at the Faculty of Law at the University of Victoria and has been with Roger Batchelor Law Corporation since December of 2006. A father of four, Jesse primarily assists with the family law practice.

Sarah Rebalkin, Legal Assistant

Sarah is our newest addition and a real island girl. She is our first point of contact for the office and has a fantastic manner with clients. As gatekeeper, she is responsible for all incoming correspondence, and phone calls. She has the heavy burden of managing the schedule, and has extensive knowledge of all our current and past clients. Sarah will be attending the Legal Assistant Program in the Spring.
